Orders - Filters and Queue

Orders can be filtered to organize the records in the MacPractice database. There are five different filters within the orders of MacPractice. 

Filter by Office

You may filter your Orders in the Order Queue by the office they were created under. If you select All Offices from the Filter by Office drop-down menu, all Orders created under all offices will appear in the queue. If you select a particular office from that drop-down menu, only the orders created under that office will appear in the queue:

Filter by Provider

You may filter Orders in your Orders Queue by Provider. If you select All Providers in the Filter by Provider drop-down menu, all Orders created under all providers will appear in the Orders Queue. If you filter by a particular provider, only Orders created for that provider will appear in the Orders Queue:

Filter by User

You may filter your Orders Queue by the user chosen for that Order. If you filter by All Users in the Filter by User drop-down menu, all Orders for all users will appear in the Orders Queue. If you filter by a specific user, only Orders assigned to that user will appear in the Orders Queue:

Filter by Type

You may elect to filter your Orders Queue by Order Type. If All Order Type is selected under the Filter by Type drop-down menu, all Orders for all order types will appear in the Orders Queue. If a particular type of order is selected from that menu, only Orders associated to that order type will appear in the Orders Queue. The Order Type will appear as the second column in the Orders Queue:

Filter by Status

You may filter your Orders Queue by Order Status, such as Open, Closed, Pending Results, etc. If you select All Order Status from the Filter by Status drop-down menu, all Orders with any given status will appear in the Orders Queue. All Open includes: pending results, results available, scheduled, open, approved, and hold. If you select a particular Order Status, only those Orders with that status will appear in the Orders Queue. The Order Status is represented by the fourth column in the Orders Queue:

Reload Button

Clicking the Reload Button will refresh your Orders:
