This feature is built into the Patient ability and, like the Clinical tab, it dynamically updates as new information is added elsewhere in the system. This tab will record of all financial transactions for a patient, including charges, payments, and insurance claim statuses.

Incident Menu: The incident menu will allow the user to adjust the items within the incident window.
Charges Menu: The Charges menu will allow the user to enter and open charges within the patient's chart.
Payments Menu: The Payments menu will be use to enter in new insurance and patient payments.
Other Menu: The Other menu is used for items that are not charges, payments, or printed documents.
Print Menu: The print menu will allow the user to create a claim and select statement forms.
View Options: The view options are used to customize the display of the ledger. Usually they are set in the beginning and not changed.
Treatment Plans: The Treatment Plans node will show all the treatment plans on the patient's chart. This is just a read-only view of the plans.
Account Ledger: The Account Ledger is used to see all the transactions on the entire account.
Indicent Node: The Incident node will allow the user to put in the incident settings.
Transactions: The Transactions Node is where most of the activity in the Ledger is performed. It will display all the transactions that are contained within a selected incident.
Treatment Plan Node: The Treatment Plan Node can also be used to make a new Treatment Plan.
Transaction Table: The transaction table will change depending on the selection in the incident window. The contents will be similar based on the selection.
Incident Total Count: Incident count will show the number of incidents in the patient's chart. This is helpful when previous incidents are archived.
Account Balance: The Account Balance will show the total balance for the entire account.
Insurance Portion: The Insurance Portion will show the amount of the account balance that is the responsibility of the Insurance.
Patient Portion: The Patient Portion will show the amount of the account balance that is owed by the patient.
Unapplied: The Unapplied amount will show any unapplied balances, or "credits" that remain on the account.
Primary Coverage: The Primary Coverage will show the remaining amount of coverage provided by the primary insurance company.
Deductible: The deductible will display the remaining amount the the patient must pay before the primary deductible is exhausted.
Patient Portion: The Patient Portion will display the aging balance of the selected patient that is patient responsible. This will not include other patient's on the account.
Insurance Portion: The Insurance Portion will display the aging balance of the selected patient that is waiting to be paid by insurance. This will not include other patient's on the account.
Total Balance: The Total Balance will display the selected patient's aging balance. Balances from other patients on the account will not be displayed in this table.
