There are two ways to import an attachment into MacPractice: 1) drag and drop the attachment into the Attachments Ability window in MacPractice, or 2) use the Browse icon:
If you click on the Browse icon, you may choose your attachment from anywhere it may be located on your computer. Once you have located the correct file, you may click Open to select it and attach it in MacPractice:
Once you've chosen your file and have hit Command + S on your keyboard to save, the file name and extension (.gif, .jpg, etc.) will populate the File field:
Once you have imported and saved your desired file, you will not be able to change the file name or extension in the File field. It is important to remember to name your file appropriately prior to importing into MacPractice.
