Policy Date of Service
Rejection messages include, but are not limited to:

  • Reject - Dates of Service not in Insured Policy Dates | Additional Explanation- DTP03 not in policy date range

This rejection basically states that that submitted dates of service are not covered by insurance due to the policy dates. The best course of action for this rejection would be to contact the patient and inquire about any updated insurance information. It might also be beneficial for the patient to contact the insurance about active coverage. Depending on the outcome of the policy inquiry, the claims may be able to be resubmitted.
