Patient Check In App for iPad - Overview

The Patient Check In App for iPad allows a patient to "Check In" to a scheduled appointment. Once a patient has checked in using the App, the patient's appointment status automatically updates to Checked In on any Schedule window in MacPractice. The Patient Check In App for iPad assists with office workflow by automatically updating the scheduled appointment to reflect that a patient has checked in and is ready to begin the appointment. When the Patient Check In App for iPad is used with the MacPractice 4.2 iEHR or Clipboard Apps, the appointment record within the schedule of these Apps will also display the time which the patient has been waiting.

Please note that Patient Check In 4.2 is only compatible with MacPractice software versions 4.2.35 and later.
