The Orders Preferences govern how the Orders ability/Orders Tab in the Patient Ability are handled.
Default Filter By User: This lets you choose between All Users, Logged in User, or Remember Last User.
Default Order Type when Creating New Orders: This lets you set the Default Order Type for new Orders.
Remind the user within __ minutes before the reminder time: Allows the user to set the how far before the reminder they would like to see a pop-up alert, if a date and time is set for the reminder. By default it is set to 5 minutes; any changes will take effect the next time the user logs in to MacPractice.
Show reminders within __ day period: Allows the user to set the default date range in the reminder window. By default it shows reminders within 7 days of the "From" date in the reminder window. Any changes will take effect the next time the user logs in to MacPractice.
Show reminders started _ day from today. Negative number for the past: Allows the user to set how many days from the current date the "From" field in the reminder window will default to. If this is set to zero, the reminder window will show reminders set from today forward, for the number of days specified in the "Show Reminders within _ day period in the reminder window".
Show Reminder Window After Login: If checked, the reminder window will open automatically after logging into MacPractice if there are reminders due today.
