Charting Menu - Primary, Permanent, & Unerupted

The Charting Menu can be accessed by right clicking on a tooth within the patients chart. Notice that the tooth will be highlighted to confirm that the correct selection was made. The charting menu will act as the platform for entering any procedures or annotations to the patient's record. The patients teeth will initially display as primary or permanent based on the patient's age. Permanent teeth will be displayed if the patient is 13 years or older. If the patient is younger than 13, primary teeth will be displayed. The entire mouth can be updated for the patient by using the Charting Options in the top right corner.

If a specific tooth needs to be changed, right click on the tooth and navigate to the Primary/Permanent node. Open the node by using the triangle to the left of the menu. Once open, select the type or the status of the tooth. Notice that the tooth will immediately update. A tooth that is marked as unerupted will be removed from the display and will use the URPT tag in place of the tooth number.
