The iPad's Passcode Lock feature can be used for security. To set up the iPad's Passcode, tap the Settings icon on the iPad and select Touch ID & Passcode. Tap the Require Passcode button to specify the inactivity time after which the iPad will request the passcode. Tap Change Passcode to set a four digit passcode.
The Passcode section will then appear whenever the iPad has been inactive for the time set in Require Passcode, when the device is restarted, or when the device has been manually set to sleep with the Sleep/Wake button on the top right of the iPad device.
Passcode Lock is an iPad security feature and MacPractice will not have this four digit passcode on file.
