Kiosk - Machine Configuration

The Kiosk machine can be any computer apart from the MacPractice Server that is configured with a network connection and a manually set internal static IP address. The Kiosk computer should have the same OS version as the machine used to send the forms to the Kiosk.

Configure the Kiosk machine System Preferences to prevent access to the Kiosk resources. In the Apple menu, select System Preferences. Configure the OS settings as the table below describes.

  • Accessibility > VoiceOver - Disable VoiceOver
  • Keyboard > Shortcuts - Disable All Shortcuts
