Clinical Quality Measures Report - Oncology: Medical and Radiation Pain Intensity Quantified

Overview
Percentage of patient visits, regardless of patient age, with a diagnosis of cancer currently receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy in which pain intensity is quantified.

A patient will be in the denominator when they have all of the following- 

  • A visit during your reporting period
  • A cancer diagnosis with an Onset Date matching the the Procedure Date of their visit
  • A Chemotherapy Administration within 30 days prior to their visit
  • An additional Chemotherapy Administration within 30 days after their visit

OR

  • Radiation Treatment Management during your reporting period
  • A cancer diagnosis with an Onset Date matching the the Procedure Date of their Radiation Treatment Management

A patient will be in the numerator when they have all of the following- 

  • A Standardized Pain Assessment Tool LNC code added or imported as a Laboratory Order with a Received Date matching the Procedure Date of their office visit CPT code
