Clinical Quality Measures Report - Functional Status Assessment For Hip Replacement

Overview
Percentage of patients aged 18 years and older with primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) who completed baseline and follow-up (patient-reported) functional status assessments.

A patient will be in the denominator when they have all of the following- 

  • An age of 18+ years
  • A THA Procedure <=180 days before or <=185 days after the Start Date of your reporting period
  • A visit <=180 before the THA Procedure
  • An additional visit >=60 days after the THA Procedure and also <=180 days after the first Outpatient Consultation, Face-to-Face Interaction, or Office Visit procedure

A patient will be in the numerator when they have all of the following- 

  • A Functional Status Assessment for Hip Replacement LNC code added or imported as a Laboratory Order as a test and result with a Received Date <=180 days before the THA Procedure
  • An additional Functional Status Assessment for Hip Replacement LNC code added or imported as a Laboratory Order as a test and result with a Received Date between 60 and 180 days after the THA Procedure

A patient will be in the exclusions when they have either of the following- 

  • A Fracture - Lower Body diagnosis with an Onset Date prior to their THA procedure
  • A Severe Dementia diagnosis with an Onset Date within your reporting period
