Overview
Percentage of patients aged 18-85 years of ago with a diagnosis of hypertension whose blood pressure improved during the measurement period.
A patient will be in the denominator when they have all of the following-
- An age of 18-85 years
- A Visit within the first 6 months of your reporting period
- a Hypertension diagnosis with an Onset Date matching the Procedure Date of their visit
- A Systolic Blood Pressure LNC code added or imported as a Laboratory Order with a Received Date matching the Procedure Date of their visit and a value >140
A patient will be in the numerator when they have either of the following-
- A second Visit at least 6 months after their first, and also within your reporting period
- A second Systolic Blood Pressure LNC code added or imported as a Laboratory Order with a Received Date matching the Procedure Date of their second visit and a value <140
OR
- A second Visit at least 6 months after their first, and also within your reporting period
- A Delta Systolic Blood Pressure LNC code added or imported as a Laboratory Order with a Received Date matching the Procedure Date of their second visit and a value >=10
