Overview
The Child and Adolescent Major Depressive Disorder: Suicide Risk Assessment report measures percentage of patient visits for those patients aged 6-17 years with a diagnosis of major depressive disorder with an assessment for suicide risk.

A patient will be in the denominator when they have all of the following- 

  • An age 6-17 years old
  • A visit during your reporting period
  • A Major Depressive Disorder-Active diagnosis in their Problem List with an Onset Date matching the Procedure Date of their visit

A patient will be in the numerator when they have all of the following- 

  • A Suicide Risk Assessment snomed code, 225337009, added to their EMR or EHR from in the snomed code section with a Start Date and End Date matching the Procedure Date of their visit
