Overview
The Breast Cancer Screening report measures the percentage of women 51-74 years of age who had a mammogram to screen for breast cancer.
A patient will be in the denominator when they have all of the following-
- A gender of Female
- An age from 51-74 years old
- A visit during your reporting period
A patient will be in the numerator when they have all of the following-
- A mammogram within the last 27 months prior to the End Date of your reporting period. The mammogram can be noted in two ways-
- A HCPCS code on their ledger
- A LNC code either imported from a lab interface or manually added to a Laboratory Order with a Value and a Received Date
A patient will be in the exclusions when they have all of the following-
- A Bilateral Mastectomy OR two Unilateral Mastectomy codes dated prior to their visit
