Clinical Quality Measures Report - Adult Major Depressive Disorder (MDD): Suicide Risk Assessment

Overview
The Adult Major Depressive Disorder (MDD): Suicide Risk Assessment Report measures the percentage of patients aged 18 years and older with a diagnosis of major depressive disorder (MDD) with a suicide risk assessment completed during the visit in which a new diagnosis or recurrent episode was identified.

A patient will be in the denominator when they have all of the following- 

  • An age 18 or older
  • A visit during your reporting period 
  • A Depression diagnosis in their Problem List with an Onset Date matching the Procedure Date of their visit

A patient will be in the numerator when they have all of the following- 

  • A Suicide Risk Assessment snomed code, 225337009, added to their EMR or EHR from in the snomed code section with a Start Date and End Date matching the Procedure Date of their visit
